What is Tales from the Campsite and Beyond all about?
Tales from the Campsite and Beyond is a fast growing camping and travel blog, written by me, an happy camper, who loves exploring Europe in my camper caravan with my husband and two boys. We love trying out different camping places that have enough to entertain kids with great locations for mom and dad to take the kids exploring. We also love to teach our children about other cultures and history, which is why you may find us taking trips to some bigger cities.
Living in Denmark, we spend most of our camping trips in Scandinavia, where there is a unique camping culture. As an American living abroad, I also enjoy going back to the USA to camp in rented campers, cabins or tents in some of the best places for families in the USA. However, sometimes, we find ourselves visiting a larger city and staying in hostels or other great places that fit best for families.

Camping in both the USA and Europe is a big part of my family’s life. I love sharing campgrounds and travel experiences to encourage other families to get out in nature and find the joys of unplugging once in a while. Also, since we are a multicultural family, we have a strong understanding of different cultures and languages that will help readers get more out of the experience when they visit these places.
I offer humor and a down-to-earth view of new experiences that life has to offer and show readers the importance of making each day your best day!

I am here to help share my experiences with many different places to help others know all they need to know when planning their next camping trip. Sharing my insider tips for great locations, products and tips, I help many people get more out of their camping trips in Denmark, Europe and the USA.
However, more than just campers follow my blog. In fact, a large portion of my readers are typical families who are looking for great ideas for things to do on their next family vacation. They want to know where the places are to travel with kids and how to have memorable experiences. That is why you will find many great posts that don’t take place on a campground or in nature, since we do like to explore cities and towns, as well.
Though the majority of my followers come from Denmark and the USA, I also have many loyal visitors from the UK, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
